But still, more than million users play old games on PS3. Did I mentioned old games? Yeah, but that doesn't mean those games are bad. They are great!
Games such as GTA 5, Watch Dog, Assassins creed, God of war will never lose it position.
But the question is :
Did Sony stop producing PS3?
Unfortunately, PS3 have stopped from being produced in several countries during 2015 and after 2016, there is no production of PS3. So those who are busy playing PS3, I would suggest them to go for PS5 or else play your PS3 till PS6 is released ( Read : Why you should not upgrade to PS5 or wait for PS6 to be released). Its backward compatibility is worst.. what? only top 100 titles?
Frankly speaking, if you are upgrading PS4 to PS5, you are wasting your money. You should rather play more on PS4 and wait for PS6.
Will Sony make new games for PS3?
The last game which was made for PS3 was FIFA 19 in 2019 and during 2020 Sony has put it maximum efforts on making PS5 and for PS4 games. Sony is busy making new games such as The Last Of Us 2, Iron Man VR and Ghosts of Tsushima. So will any games going to be produces for PS3 from 2020?
Keeping this in mind that Sony has stop producing PS3 around 2016 and the last ever game was FIFA 19 which was made for PS3 in 2019.
Unfortunately there will be no new games being created for PS3 from 2020 onward. Sony may reduce the production of PS4 after PS5 will start having a real control over it reign.
You will not find any PS3 in stores.
Why to be upset?
When you can play all the past games which are made for PS3, so there is no need to be upset if you cannot buy next generation console. There are several games which have to be played by you and even some of them are the best games in the world.
You should be proud of owning PS3 because many people dreamed of having a mobile to play games

There will be no games for PS3 in 2020 because Sony is now putting it maximum effort in PS5 and its games. Even PS4 will be stop being produced after a few years. So better play PS3 right now and wait until you save your money to buy a new awesome gaming PC.
