11 Damn Reasons Why Apple Company Sucks

Apple Inc. is one of the biggest multinational corporations with a net worth of more than 2 trillion USD. It was founded by Steven Paul Jobs also known as Steve Jobs on 1 April 1976 in California. 

Apple is one of the four American billion dollars companies. I doubt whether people believed him at the time of April fool.

Despite being the most successful company, it still has a lot of flaws which you are going to know very soon. There are some points that you may not like if you are an apple user. Though the points written here are completely based on personal choice, I don't have any hate for the company and this article is made just because you have searched it. 

Reasons why Apple sucks:

1. Apple is more like a fashion industry nowadays

Apple has certainly transformed into a company that looks similar to the fashion industry. It seems like Apple is competing with Zara or Gucci i.e they strive for better design each time. 

This happens only after Tim Cook became CEO and took control over it. Apple keeps making its products thinner. The new iPad Pro is so thin that it could bend easily. 

We certainly don't want to use Apple products to cut apples and tomatoes in the future.

Apple is very successful in terms of designs and their designs are eye-catchy for sure but their designs are rather overhyped. Apple should now strive for better specs in their devices.

2. iTunes, the mentally torturing software in the world

iTunes created a market for the songs, not for the album. Moreover, it completely freezes the computer because it takes a large amount of CPU. 

Users find it difficult to interact with iTunes as they aren't user-friendly. Transferring files becomes impossible because of loading time.

3. Apple's privacy enables the users to be tracked easily

Though Apple says that they are the most concerned company on the ground of privacy policies but the recent articles claimed that users are actively being tracked and it was  Google who identified this flaw. 

No one would expect a privacy-enhancing company to introduce a few sorts of privacy risks.

So, if you ever doubt whether iPhones are hackable, then your answer is yes. Even with the ever-improving securities functioning of Apple, stealing of user's information didn't stop here.

Apple brags a lot about its privacy, but they never verified it to the market. 

4. Apple is completely locked into its ecosystem

This is a flaw that many users hate. Such as the Apple watch that can be connected only with Apple products. Even connecting Samsung phone on Mac requires some change in setting. 

Once you have bought an Apple product, you will be locked in Apple's hands. If you are going to buy an Apple product, be ready to buy another exclusive product for it.

5. Apple has real control over your devices

Unlike Android phones where you can get real control over hardware and software updates, Apple's iPhones are updated when they are actually updated, you cannot have any custom iOS. 

In fact, Apple has 100% control over your devices. Hence, you got no freedom. Apple never tells the users about the update in advance. 

Like in a recent case Apple intentionally downgraded the performance to prevent the excess draining of the battery. 

Not aware of this, users replaced their iPhone's battery when they thought that their phone became slower.

6. Apple fingerprint sensor doesn't like your cleaned fingers

After coming from a nice shower, don't expect to reply back those texts as the Apple fingerprint sensor hates your wetted finger. 

You'll have to wait about half an hour to convince the sensor that you're the owner. 

7. The real reason: why apple sucks, 'High-Priced'

The reason for which Apple is over-priced because of the following reasons:

• They have positioned themselves in the market in such a way that people buy it without giving it a second thought.
• Apple is greedy. 
• Exporting its product may increase the taxes to more than 1.5x.
• Apple's users are loyal to their brand and therefore making it an advantage for Apple. 
• Designing itself increase the price to double. 
• iPhones are made with aluminium cases. 

Mostly, people buy it as bragging material. They wanted to show off it to their friends and others. 

Moreover, for mirror selfies, so they can get pleasure when they share them on social media and show how much rich they are. 

But honestly, actual rich people don't show off their Apple logo, they don't need to prove it. If Apple products aren't expensive, but  'not cheap products, then it's the way people perceive them. 

8. Apple products are upgraded with 'downgraded' hardware

The latest iPhones don't have a sound port, you'll have to get a pair of air pods for that. Apple Watch costing more than a deserving watch don't have a waterproof coating, be cautious while washing your hand. 

You will have to get a cooling pad exclusively from Apple to cool down the lava hot MacBook even with its connected fans. 

 

9. Software isn't flawless as it's priced

Apple users might know that the Apple map isn't good as that of Google Maps, but Apple doesn't like Google or any other companies. 

Apple has got some awesome software too, but it would be better if Apple allows its users to use better software that isn't exclusive to Apple. 

10. Apple makes limited Devices. 

For example, Samsung releases devices ranging from low-end to high-end, with a wide variety of designs to be chosen by users. iPhone has the same design from 2007 and it is being re-polished and then sold. 

11. Apple uses many dishonest practices.

It includes allegations such as:

• Suspicious tax tactics: source
• Misleading pledges: In 2008, Apple refused to honour warranties. in 2013, Apple  CEO Tim Cook apologized to Chinese consumers for the same.
• Insufficient data security: In 2014, hackers discovered the way to the 'find my iPhone' service. 
• Violation of labour laws: Apple violates 2 or more labour laws in China. A known fact is that the workers worked for 15 hours and were paid like 50 USD per month.
• Anti-competitive behaviour: Apple is still practising ways to prevent or reduce the competition. Several universal software or app are banned in Apple that is not their exclusive. They find unusual excuses too.
• Impulsive lawsuit
• Joint with PRISM: It's an NSA surveillance.
