2 Rules On How To Choose a Gaming PC exclusively for yourself:
First of all, make your mind clear about the following things:
- Are you a more like arcade gamer or do you like to play high-end game?
- Are you a casual gamer who prefer to play for 1 to 2 hours or hardcore gamer who prefer 3 to 5 or more hours?
- Are you willing to spend good amount of money?
- Are you a weekend gamer ? or play everyday
- Are you willing to play with a same PC for next 2 to 5 years?
This article cover over two categories, we suggest you to read either of these two followings tips which you have doubt over or else you will confused over it.
1. Budget:
Before continuing further, it will be better if you know that budget play a main role over here and you will soon conclude which type of pc suit better according to your budget:
- Beginners: Low / Medium budget (500$-900$)
- Experienced : Low / Medium / High budget (500$-2000$)
- Professional: High budget (1500$-5000$)
Keep this in mind that above points are just a consideration but do make sure that you don't need to go broke while choosing the amount of money you can spend on gaming PC.
2. Specifications of PC based on genre:
A person buying any gaming PC will keep it for at least 2-3 years so therefore even arcade gamers should build a gaming PC with medium specs.
Following are the specs based on types of gamers:
- ARCADE GAMER:
- Graphic Card: Be sure that arcade gamers are those who play games such as Mario. These type of games demand less graphic cards on PC but that doesn't mean you should spend less because many arcade gamers gets bored of playing the same type of game. So the graphic card I would recommend is AMD RX 540 / similar one such as GTX 1650 or better one.
- RAM : Due to the same reason given above, go for at least 4 gb ram but not less than it, with at least 2 ram slots.
- Processor : Go for i3 9400f or little backward if you want cheaper (i3 8th gen)
- Memory: Arcade-genre games usually take less space in PC, so PC with 100gb is good to go (Your files too occupies space in your pc, right?)
- MID-END GAMERS:
- Graphic Card: Mid End gamers play games such as Dota 2, CS GO, PUBG (Low setting). Go for AMD RX 560 / Nvidia GTX 1650 or better one.
- RAM: At least 6 gb with 2 RAM slots or more.
- Processor: i3 9400f is enough. But you can even get better one.
- Memory: 300-500gb
- HIGH-END GAMERS
- Graphic Card: High end gamers play games such as GTA 5, RE7, FAR CRY 5, PUBG (High setting). So AMD RX 580 / Nvidia GTX 1660 or better one.
- RAM: At least 8 gb ram (12gb ram is recommended) with triple-channel.
- Processor: At least i3 9400f (i5 9400f is recommended)
- Memory: More than 500gb (1tb is recommended)
3 Myths About Buying A Gaming Pc :
1. Spending 10 grand over gaming PC is worth
Until and unless you are super rich brat, or a professional gamer you should certainly never waste so many dollars on a gaming PC. All you will get in the same PC is games but with better specs, quality and setting. Is gaming the only part of your life? No, so don't do this.
2. High processor like i9 10900k are too necessary!
Frankly speaking, this is an overkill for gaming PC. Though i9 10900k is the fastest intel core but there is no need to get this. i7 is more than enough while i5 is what you can get for gaming.
3. You requires a damn expensive gaming chair for better gaming!
No..you aren't too noob to spend another 500 dollars for a gaming chair. Just get your rocking chair and ace the game! Many experienced gamers can play good even while sitting on bed.
