Know how your money is being sucked by Skin Product

In today's world, marketing is such a powerful tool that can change the mind of the person toward a product. The probability of a person being exposed to fake facts about any product is pretty high!
The problem is not that consumers are buying the fake marketed products, but the one who is selling this.

Following are the myths which are being accepted by 90% of consumers

Myth-1: Detox products help in detoxifying skin/body

Detoxifying: The removal of toxic substance from the body of a living organism

Description: Actual detoxifying process take place in a hospital. Detoxifying is of various types such as colon cleansing, liver cleansing, alcohol detoxifying, drug detoxifying, etc.

Truth:
  • A product claiming to be a detox can't even specify which type of toxic it removes
  • Natural smoothies such as cucumber, lemon juices do not detoxify your skin/body. Though they are healthy.
  • Companies or brands use words such as 'detox' for the sake of advertisement and marketing.
  • A product claiming to remove impurities from our body is just a scam no matter how prosperous its brand is.

Myth-2: Oiling hair prevent hair fall and baldness

Description: This myth is actively being followed mostly in India and people claiming that oiling help in preventing hair fall is widely circulated in the prints and articles, they have no idea about the evidence. Though myth will remain a myth even after several ayurvedic evidence may be claimed.

Truth:
  • Oiling never makes hair healthy, but attracts dust particles. Which makes hair prone to dandruff.
  • Certain oil companies claiming that their product will help you in preventing hair fall and stimulate hair growth is a scam.
  • Few drops of oil can make your hair smooth because oil does nothing but act as a lubricant.
  • Think twice while buying oil for hair if you want it to act as a lubricant (making hair smooth) or for preventing hair fall/stimulating hair growth.
  • Your hair health depends on how you take care of inside your body.
  • Your hair also depends on your genetics. You can know more about genetics on google.

Myth-3: Natural skin products are better than chemical-based  skin product

Description: Believe it or not, this is complete shit! You know why? because all-natural things available on earth is made up of chemical.
From the water, trees, oil to rockets, airplanes are all based on chemicals. Even we are made up of chemicals, for example, our muscles are made up of special proteins which are made up of hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon.

Truth:
  • All products claiming to be natural are too synthesized (man-made) and made from chemicals, no matter whether they have been made from cucumber juice or herbs.
  • Whatever cream you are applying on your face is man-made hence, no more natural stuff.
  • Even if you consume tulsi (herb) from the forest or man-made medicine, you are consuming chemical elements

Myth-4: Quality of Skin product base on how expensive it is

Description: This myth is widely followed by people worldwide. Ingredients for products for particular work will remain just the same.

Most dermatologists claim that expensive brands aren't any better for you than less costly creams. "Price is irrelevant from the point of view of whether it works or not,"

Truth:
  • A person having acne-prone skin will definitely choose acne preventive cream. Whether this cream may be expensive or not, 98% of the ingredients will be the same.
  • The remaining 2% of ingredients inexpensive cream is of no use and generally consists of ester (perfume) and other kinds of stuff for luxury.
  • Think twice before purchasing expensive cream whether you are purchasing for luxury or thinking like it would be worth more.
