Sony has announced that PS5 is going to launch on holiday of 2020, probably around November. It price is still not confirmed but somewhat expected to be around $400.

You should go for PS5 if:
- If you think like having a newer and better specs for gaming, then opting for PS5 is worth.
- If you think like you can spend your money just for the sake of better version.
- If you consider yourself as a true gamer.
Owning a PS5 is not really worth because the upgrade of PS4 to PS5 is not like that of PS2 to PS3. At the time when PS3 was released, the upgradation was quite drastic. Lemme collect money and wait till the PS6 is released.
1. PS5 will be backward compatible with PS1,2,3 and 4
So it may be utter disappointment for those who made it confirmed in their mind about it compatibility. Yeah it is true that Sony take much time to reveal much information. The headache for PS3 gamers.
Many unexpected facts are yet to be revealed by Sony. Sony is clever for sure to create a hype in market.
2. PS5 will be compatible for all the games of PS4
Sorry to say but Sony wrote,
"We recently took a look at the top 100 PS4 titles as ranked by play time, and we’re expecting almost all of them to be playable at launch on PS5. With more than 4000 games published on PS4, we will continue the testing process and expand backwards compatibility coverage over time."
Let hope that they choose good games for us.
Keep in mind that the result can be good or even bad. I think that PS5 will have a good catch on it.
3. PS5 can support 120 FPS on 4k
This is not possible for such GPU. The PS5 is as strong as Alienware Area-51m, the Asus ROG Mothership and the MSI GT76 Titan.
Sony will have to low down the frequency of the settings to use that 120Hz refresh rate and that's just on 1080p because ,even at 4K, the GT76 Titan could reach only 25 fps.
So, I don't see the PS5 pushing 120 fps at 4K on the highest settings. Sony's going to have to reduce in frequency of those settings hard if it wants to see those high frame rates.
4. PS5 will be comparatively better than high end gaming pc
What is said is not correct at all. If we look at the specs of high end gaming pc, for example let take Origin Millennium:
- CPU: 3.7GHz Intel Core i7-8700K (hexa-core, 12MB cache, up to 4.7GHz)
- Graphics: 2 x Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (11GB GDDR5X VRAM; SLI); Intel UHD Graphics 630.
- RAM: 16GB G.Skill TridentZ RGB
Again, we can compare PS5 with Alienware area 51, Asus ROG Mothership and GT76 Titan.
We can conclude that PS5 is comparatively better than low to mid-low end gaming pc.
5. PS5 will look like this
In the given picture, you can see the playstation logo at the corner, which made people to believe in this.
But till now, people are randomly predicting the design of PS5 and posting it everywhere.
What I think that we should prefer to wait and let Sony tell about it. Or else serious misinformation may circulate around the world which will mislead the people.
