How To Earn Money With A Car Without Driving?

If you don't use your car then it's pretty well obvious it will rot in your garage. There are some ways mentioned in this article by which you can earn passive income without even driving your car. 

There may be some apps names mentioned here but wherever the app is promoted, I will ensure it in this article. 

How to earn money out of a car without even driving? 

1. Rent the car to a driver

There are many drivers out there who want to upgrade their mode of transportation and some may not be able to purchase a new car, rent them your car with a monthly or daily commission. 

You can rent out your car to an Uber driver or to an aspiring Uber driver. Make sure that the renting pay is not too much for the driver causing him unable to pay you as well as make sure you don't have any issue with it. 

You can even hire a person who is aspiring to become an Uber driver but do not have his own car. 

Now how to find a driver?

You can ask your relative or a friend, or in some cases, you may have to trouble yourself to find a driver around you. 

Another instance is to find any driver at the taxi service department who really wish to rent a car from you for Uber or other digital taxi services. 

Or else, you may have to find a student who wants to earn passive money out of taxi service at Uber or another platform and is willing to rent a car.

Put your car on rent to a driver asking him to pay you 500 USD weekly or you can increase/ decrease the price deepening on the circumstances.

2. Place the car on rent at Enterprise or Turo

Zoomcar is an Indian car rental company while on the other hand, Turo and Enterprise are American car rental companies.

Depending on the location, you can choose the rental app and place your car on rent. You can get paid when your car is rented by people. 

You can earn money depending on the stuff presented by those respective rental apps.

How to put your car on rent?

Visit the respective rental website and look for the information regarding renting out your car. 

Follow the rules and regulations provided by the respective car rental websites.

Example:

The maximum car age should be no more than 12 years. This mean car that was purchased by you more than 12 years ago will not be approved by Turo. 

The distance covered by your car should be no more than 130,000 miles. Some classic vehicles are accepted by Turo under some rules laid by it.

3. Rent it out to a food delivery person 

There might be a person at a food delivery place who wish to have a good car like you do and is frustrated with his old granny's car. 

Where is that guy who need your car?

I can't say the exact location but you can certainly put a notice with the permission of the food delivery agent displaying the rental fee or you may directly go and talk to find out if you're quite of an extrovert.

Let's say you have a friend or colleague who works at a pizza delivery store and want a cheaper rental car. 

As a friend or colleague, you can compromise the rental fee to a bit low and ask him to pay you monthly, because the weekly fee amount may look quite miniature to you.

4. Put advertisements on your car

Might be a better option if no car rental service wants your old car. Wrapping advertisements on your car can pay you a good amount of money. 

Some popular advertising companies are Wrapify, Carvertise and Nickelytics. Unfortunately, I didn't get any popular companies from Asia and Europe.

• Requirement: 2010 or newer registered vehicle and daily 50 miles commute.
• Earning:  100-450 USD per month (full wrap)

(C) Nickelytics:

• Location: Florida, Maine, Colorado, Louisiana
• Requirement: 2010 or newer registered vehicle and daily 30 miles commute.
• Earning: 100-500 USD per month (full wrap)

5. Sell the spare parts of the car (exception)  

Now you are in a situation where you cannot do anything with your car to earn passive income out of it. 

The last option is to sell the spare parts to the local mechanic, he may enthusiastically accept it under a small commission. Or else sell the car, peace out.
