What Type Of Games Should You Play? |

There are several types of games, be it first-person shooter, role-playing game, multiplayer online role playing game, and many more. It is because of the fact that everyone has a different attitude towards gaming. Some may like RPG adventure more than FPS games. Others may go for MMO over RPG. But the matter of fact is that each one of us is mostly playing those games which is suggested by top articles or videos on YT. Even here, I have suggested what type of games should you play according to your own taste and preference.

What matters the most is the type of games, not the franchises.

As I said above, it doesn't matter if one likes the COD series more than Minecraft and GTA series over Roblox, but what matters the most is that the same guy prefers action games over role-playing games.

Some argue between GTA and Watch Dogs despite both are action-genre games. Though that is another long process which involve story, graphic, activities in a whole for comparison.  

Action-genre games:

1. Battle Royale games 

Battle royale games are those games which support online feature and have around 100 players in a match. Each player tries to be cautious enough from the opponent and play to become the lone survivor by killing other opponents on a big map. 

If you like playing on a big map with so many players around the world and like stealth a lot, then battle royale is a better piece for you. Battle royale games only work with an internet connection and don't work offline. Some impressive battle royale games are PUBG, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Warzone, Z1. There's no sub-option for battle royale games.

2. RPG

RPG refer to role-playing games and are generally offline or story mode games. If you like playing a role of a fictional character and you'd better off taking responsibility for a fictional character and escape the missions. RPG also includes MMO games. It depends on you whether you wanted to play MMOs or single player would be enough for you.

-MMO RPG: For those who prefer role-playing games with players around the world. Some MMO RPGs are World Of Warcraft, City Of Heroes.

-Story mode RPG: If you prefer playing story mode, some good RPG games are Assassin's Creed Odyssey, The Outer Worlds, Fallout 4

3. FPS Games 

FPS games are currently in demand worldwide. If you think you like playing action games with a touch of realism, FPS games are great for you because the first-person camera enables the player to experience the game like he is sensing the things around him. There are a lot of choices in FPS games such as FPS multiplayer, FPS story/offline FPS battle royale, etc.

-FPS Multiplayer (online) game: If your preference is to play FPS games with other players around the world, then games such as CS GO, Valorant, COD, and BF series are some FPS multiplayer games

-FPS Battle Royale (online) game: If you prefer playing FPS games with around 100 players on a map where every player/team wanted to become a lone survivor, then some good FPS battle royale games are PUBG, Apex Legends, and Warzone.

-FPS story (offline) game: If you do not care about playing FPS games with other online players and just want to play amazing storyline FPS games, then some good games are Crysis 3, Call Of Duty (COD) series, Battlefield 1 & its series, Far Cry series.

4.Horror-Survival

If you prefer playing games filled with intensifying, thrilling, and horrific moments then Horror-Survival is what you should prefer. Horror survival can be apocalyptic or with scary creatures/ghosts. Though there are some horror-survival games with online features to play with friends or random players around the world.

-Apocalyptic story game:  If you prefer zombie-world games with beautiful stories, then The Last Of Us series and Resident Evil 2 Remake are some of the best games you should have a try. COD black ops is also good. 

-Apocalyptic online game: Apocalyptic online games are those games that you can play online with your friend or random person. World War Z, Dead By Daylight, and COD BO 4 are some interesting apocalyptic online games. 

-Horror offline/story game: Are those games that have scary ghosts, unlike dumb dead people. As for me, horror story-line games are more terrifying than apocalyptic games. Some awesome games are RE7 Biohazard and Outlast 2

-Horror online story game: Till now, there is not a single game. 

Puzzle-genre games:

5. Strategy games 

Type of games that require logic and presence of mind to escape mission and unlock achievement. Though these types of games aren't as popular as any action-genre games as most people prefer violent games as a source of entertainment. They find strategy games boring. But still, not everyone has the same choice. 

Some good strategy games are Civilization VI, Crusader Kings 3, and Age Of Empires. 

6.Sandbox game 

Sandbox games are open-world games like GTA or WatchDog series. But here, I didn't include GTA-like games as they are more suitable in the action-genre rather than the puzzle genre. Sandbox games such as Minecraft give a lot of things to do in it. If you are more into creativity and like to try out new things, then sandbox games are far more better for you than any action-genre games.
