Introduction
After the massive success of The Last Of Us 1, Naughty Dog has released the second part of The Last Of Us (TLOU 2) and more than 4 million copies sold. It was released in June 9th. Though Naughty Dog never failed to bring itself with awesome story-line games. This The Last Of 2 is set on an apocalyptic world where only few are surviving. It is set in the breathtaking scenes of Northwest USA
The Last Of Us 2 didn't met the expectation of some players who shifted from The Last Of Us 1 to The Last Of Us 2. You will soon know about the major flaws.
Honest Review About The Last Of Us 2
Positive side of the The Last Of Us 2:
The writing of the story is quite good for sure and the performance of characters is fantastic. The style and attention in The Last Of 2 is impressive. Full of stealth present in game from hiding under the bush for protection and lying behind the truck.
Everything in The Last Of Us 2 is balance. The audio is quite drastically improved with realistic sound in it which is better than The Last Of Us 1.
The landscapes are beautifully crafted and several breathtaking scenes are made in this game. The combat style is pretty immersive too.
The graphic of The Last Of Us 2 will works best on a 4k TV with PS4 Pro. The story line is made in such way that you will have to be ready to cry. Remember, The Last Of Us is nothing like hero and villain game which you might have saw in other games but it is more like a real circumstance where infection has spread and everything look real. This game is filled with emotional scenes and I would definitely recommend this game to you.
You will feel like you are actually inside an apocalyptic movie.
I think Naughty Dog might have tried to stand out of what other may have expected from this game but still they did a pretty good job. Fine characters, fine audio and visual setup, fine story line, but still there is some negative side of this game. Again the audio system is simply mind-blowing, hat off to the devs.
Negative side of The Last Of Us 2:
The most irritating thing about The Last Of Us 2 is that the AI system of enemy is blockish and unrealistic. In The Last Of Us 1, most of the time the player has to do various stuffs around the place with violence and stealth but in The Last Of Us 2, you will have to walk a lot, this might be due to the makers of this game actually wants us to see the beautiful scenes, okay that's quite fine. But there is a lack of actual gameplay.
There is no such graphic in The Last Of Us 2 which you have saw in the trailer of the gameplay, players may have never expected that anyhow. I would say don't believe in media too much as it will spoil your expectation.
(Little spoiler ahead)
All of the favorite characters are ruined in this game and Joel died way too early. The reason for which it is included in negative side is that players didn't played this character for the first time and are too attached to him, so beginning of the game alone is emotional. Might be the players wanted to control Joel more than other characters.
Way too much emotional scenes are present in The Last Of Us 2, so probably not for the one who is weak-hearted (it's a game anyway). Alright, you aren't kid anymore but you were the same person who screamed hard while playing Resident Evil 7, right? (lol)
If you are attached too much to Joel, then you will simply hate this because the game is simply made to make you dislike Joel and grab your attention to other characters.
Conclusion :
Overall, this game is must to play if you didn't played the first part of The Last Of Us and do not really depend on playing sequence wise. If you played the first part, and moving for the second part, it depends on you. For me, I would definitely like to try it. Naughty Dog is simply awesome..
The astonishing thing about this game is that it is nothing like a fantasy or hero and villain but a game where actions looks realistic as compared to the situation if it applied in real life. In simple language, The Last Of Us 2 is realistic-looking game and a must to play for PS4 users.
