The latest bitcoin was released on 15 January of 2021. Bitcoin does not have any central bank. It is not even physically present, so in simple words, it's a non-existing cryptocurrency. 2013:
- In 2013, the price of Bitcoin was roughly 744 USD in December. We don't have the value of Bitcoin at the starting of 2013. Rarely anyone believed that Bitcoin was worth investing in at that time. However, the one invested in Bitcoin in 2013 would be a fortune or mega fortune if he waits till around 2030, and I am talking about a single unit of Bitcoin.
2014:
-In 2014, Bitcoin's worth was more or less 550 USD. This time the price of Bitcoin reduced and those who invested in 2013 and sold it in 2014 thinking that the price would further decrease was the most unfortunate moment for them.
The price of Bitcoin in December of 2014 was fell to roughly 310 USD. Still, if someone waited thinking that the price would go up, was the bravest person at that time.
2015:
-Talking about 2015, the price of a Bitcoin again fell to around 226 USD in the kick-off. Whereas in December, the price rose to 425 USD. It was going well till and suddenly there came a massive boost to the price after a few years.
2016:
-In January of 2016, the price of Bitcoin was more or less 378 USD and in December, it rose to roughly 952 USD.
At the same time, more than 50% of the people who invested in Bitcoin during 2013 sold it in 2015 after they saw a good increase in the price value. Though it was the first massive rise in the price of Bitcoin within a year.

-The value of bitcoin in January of 2020 was roughly 900 USD. At the end of 2017, the value of a bitcoin jumped to more than 15,000 USD. Yeah, 15k USD.
2018:
-A single bitcoin was worth around 15,000 USD in January of 2018. It dropped to 3158 USD in December.

- 2019 and 2020 were the golden years where the price of a bitcoin got a real boost. The worth of Bitcoin in January was nearly 3831 USD. In December (2019), bitcoin was priced at roughly 7273 USD.
